Faculty of Computer and Information Technology

Chancellor's Decision No. (28) of 2021 was issued on opening the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology - Shabwa University on 24 Muharram 1443 AH corresponding to 02/09/2021. (2021-2022) The college is based in the city of Ataq, Shabwa governorate, in order to keep abreast of the growing developments in the world of programming and information technology. The college's curriculum is bachelor's system for four years and the college offers bachelor's programs in specialties including:

• Computer science.
• Information technology.

The College will be active at the local and regional levels in providing the labour market with qualified and specialized personnel capable of keeping pace with the evolving changes and requirements in the field of information technology.

The College's vision is to achieve a distinct position among colleges in the University. The College of Computer and Information Technology is keen on the quality of education outputs and is interested in providing a sophisticated level of scientific research.

The Faculty grants a bachelor's degree in all disciplines and four years of study in each department for 8 classrooms.
