Department of Computer Science

On my own behalf and on behalf of my fellow faculty and staff, I am pleased to welcome you as Head of the Department of Computer Science (CS) of the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology - Shabwa University, which was founded in 2021 and contains my "Computer Science (CS) and Information Technology (IT)" dictionary.
While newly specialized "globally, departments award a bachelor's degree in computer science and information technology, a four-year study period in which students study the latest specialized curricula in programming, computer technology, information, networks, artificial intelligence, operating systems, databases and computer security.
The departments seek to upgrade the level and efficiency of graduates by continuously updating the study plans and carefully selecting their vocabulary to suit the needs of the labour market, and in accordance with international standards that ensure the quality of performance and access to academic accreditation worldwide and locally, where the study plans are implemented by a selection of specialized faculty members.
By studying computer science, information technology at Shabwa University you will get all the knowledge and skills you need to get a job that suits your aspirations and aspirations.
